Gc-Ms Analysis of Bioactive Compounds Present in Hybanthus Enneaspermus Methanolic Extract
Main Article Content
Abstract
An analysis of GC–MS data was conducted on extracts of Hybanthus enneaspermus to determine the bioactive compounds. Over ten compounds were detected, including 2-(Acetoxymethyl)-3-(methoxycarbonyl)biphenylene, 2-Ethylacridine, beta-Sitosterol acetate, 4-(Diethylaminomethyl)-2,5-dimethylphenol, Methyl 8,11,14-heptadecatrienoate, Spiro[4.5]dec-6-ene, 4-Dehydroxy-N-(4,5-methylenedioxy-2-nitrobenzylidene)tyramine, 2,6-dimethyl-nonanoic acid and 5-Butyl-6-hexyloctahydro-1H-indene. It appears that the methanol extract of Hybanthus enneaspermus revealed a greater number of compounds. Specifically, we sought to isolate the compound that may possess various biological properties as part of our further investigation.
