MeSH heading words and free text words were combined. They included “Robotics,” “Operation, Remote,” “Oral Surgical Procedures,” “Oral Surgery” and “Head and Neck Neoplasms.” Language was restricted to English. As a result, a total of 503 studies were identified; of these, 119 that were associated with the application of robotic surgery in the head and neck region were included in this review.
