Employees Level of Self Motivation, Self Regulation and Self Confidence in Manufacturing Sector at Chennai

Abstract

Emotional Intelligence can help to alter positive and performance and attitude. This research paper aimed to analyze the employees emotional intelligence interms of self regulation, self motivation and self confidence. For this purpose the employees who are working in auto mobile, manufacturing units in Chennai has been selected as the sample respondents. Descriptive research design is applied to collect the primary data from the sample respondents. Questionnaire has been considered as a research tool for collecting data from the sample respondents. 400 questionnaire are distributed and 334 questionnaire returned. So, 334 as a sample size for this research. Further, frequency analysis is applied for the research objective. The study employees level of self regulation, self motivation and self confidence are found to be at moderate level.
