Laugier Hunziker Syndrome: A Rare Case Report
Main Article Content
Abstract
Laugier Hunziker syndrome is an uncommon pigmentary disorder, predominantly involving the oral mucosa, acquired due to unknown etiology. The characteristic clinical features of this condition include oral and acral pigmentation with longitudinal melanonychia.
Diagnosis of this disorder is primarily clinical which is then confirmed with biopsy. This is a benign condition and hence treatment is not necessary. Here, we report a 21 year old woman with clinical and histopathological features suggestive of Laugier Hunziker syndrome.
