Abstract

Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus megaterium, both found in soil, were tested for their antibiotic-producing potential. Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus megaterium were shown to be the optimum carbon and nitrogen sources for usage in antibiotic synthesis, respectively, based on their biochemical, physiological, and 16SrRNA properties. Bacillus VS1 and VS2 are Bacillus species that have been identified as VS. Two statistical experimental designs were used to optimise the medium compositions of Bacillus species (two strains) in order. The screening of antimicrobial chemicals produced by bacteria is discussed in this study report. The goal of this project is to use a strain to identify and analyse the specific chemicals produced by bacteria.
