Abstract

This study was conducted to diagnosis Pseudomonas aeruginosa from infections otitis of dog and its susceptibility to the  important antibiotic, addition to identifying some virulence factors activity. Twelve ear swabs were collected from infected dogs in various areas from Baghdad city from period (October 2021 to February 2022). The isolates were initially recognized depending on their (morphological shape, size, color, depending on Grams stain, biochemical test), and confirmed by Vitek2 system and finally confirmation of Pseudomonas aeruginosa was carried out by PCR assay..The result showed that 12 isolate blong to Pseudomonas aeruginosa these tested for their antibiotic sensitivity the isolate showed (100%) resistance to Erythromycine, Trimethoprim, and to Chloramphenicol 11(91.6%) and, Nailidixic acid 11(91.6%). on other some of isolates were sensitive to (Imipenem 12(100%),  Penecillin-G 12(100%) ,Polymixin-B 11(91.6%) Ceftazidime 11(91.6%), Streptomycin 7 (58.33%), Ceftriaxone (58.3%) respectively. The ability of isolate to produce virulence factor also tested all isolate showed the ability to produce Hemolysin, phospholipase.
