Reinvigoration of Interdental Papilla: A Case Report
Main Article Content
Abstract
Background: The loss of interdental papilla (IDP), especially in the maxillary anterior region poses a dilemma to the clinician because its resurrection is not that predictable. For maximum predictability, case selection and the surgical technique employed plays an important role. We discuss the causes of IDP loss, decision-making in its reconstruction and the treatment. Also discussed is a case report of IDP reconstruction.
