Abstract

The article considers the process of separation of the tuberous mass from the action of the cooling drum. The gap between the drum and the elevator has a decisive influence on the intensity of soil separation from potato tubers. In this regard, the theoretical determination of the intensity of mass separation from the action of the loosening drum. The results of theoretical studies substantiate the performance of a digger equipped with elastic fingers with a loosening drum.
